You came into our lives very unexpectedly, when one day before Christmas I met you at a dog shelter and took you home with me. While driving back you somehow managed to steal a musli bar that I had put on the co-pilot seat for me to eat. So I decided to call you Crispy. It wasn’t meant to be a permanent name because you were our new foster dog. Or were you?

You had several families interested but they all fell through. And by September 2022 you had managed to wriggle yourself into our hearts and we decided to officially welcome you as our new family member. Of course that was your plan all along 😏.

You made us better humans and we learned so much from you. We know you’ll keep teaching us because we can feel your presence in the wind, in the butterfly and in the night sky.

You are the Chrispmas gift that keeps on giving.
